For so work the honey-bees
|
Shakespeare did not know, that the queen was the chief bee officer, royal jelly (RJ) being the wonderous food, produced by bees for raising her to live several years, while the nursing bees live in summer only 2-3 weeks, and 4-5 months in winter....
The food for the bee queen is produced by special management of the bee colonies. In one bee season a royal jelly beekeeper can produce about 500 g of this precious jelly.
The main significance of royal jelly in nutrition lies in its functional health-promoting properties. The most important, all tested in cell and animal experiments, are:
Bio-stimulating and anti-fatigue
Activating the vegetative and central nervous system
Increases weight in many animals
Life prolonging and anti-stress and tranquilising in mice experiments
Anti-artheriosclerotic and heart-protecting
